seniors meet
Brocton-Portland Seniors met at their new location at Tri-Church, 41 E. Main St., Brocton on Jan. 30 with 41 members present. A tureen lunch was enjoyed by all. President Margaret Jagoda opened the meeting with Anita Calcatera’s prayer and George Travis’ Pledge of Allegiance by members. Twelve January birthdays were announced. Information regarding a trip to see “Daniel” in Lancaster, Pa., in October was given. See Robin Carr for details. The Feb. 27 meeting will include a tureen soup and sandwich lunch, with own table service and bowl. Bingo will be played for donated prizes by members.
