Land Bank meets Wednesday

MAYVILLE — The Chautauqua County Land Bank Corp. will hold its Monthly Board Meeting at 9 a.m. Wednesday in the Gerace Office Building in Mayville. The public is welcome to attend. The meeting will be held in Room 331 on the third floor. This meeting will serve both as the monthly meeting for business items, as well as our annual meeting.

The monthly meetings are conducted to discuss business associated with the land bank’s programs, acquisition and potential sale of property by the agency and other official business as required. The annual meeting will include the election of officers and appointment of committee members. The press, public and other stakeholders are welcome to attend. County Auxiliary meets Thursday

BROCTON — The Chautauqua County Auxiliary monthly meeting will be hosted by John W. Dill Unit 434 on Thursday at 7 p.m. Please note the change in venue. Members are encouraged to have a unit representative in attendance.

Charity basketball game set for Friday

Dunkirk High School National Honor Society is hosting its 15th annual Charity Basketball Game at 6 p.m. Friday. Dunkirk Alumni will battle the Dunkirk Teachers Association. A ticket to the game and chicken barbecue is $15. Tickets to the game are $5. There will be a basket raffle and bake sale at the event.

Chicken barbecue set for March 24

SINCLAIRVILLE — Sinclairville Volunteer Fire Co. will be hosting a chicken barbecue on March 24 from noon until sold out. There will be 250 dinners available, also chicken halves. Meals consist of half chicken, scalloped potatoes, roll and butter, applesauce and cookie. Price is $15. Halves are $8. Parking is available in the rear fire department parking lot. Plenty of room in the dining area for those who wish to dine in.

Legion auxiliary meets Tuesday

CASSADAGA — The Cassadaga Legion Auxiliary will be holding its regular monthly meeting on Tuesday at 6:30 p.m. in the Legion hall. All Unit members are encouraged to attend.

School planning pops concert

The fourth to eighth grades at Northern Chautauqua Catholic School invite residents to join them on Thursday for a pops concert at 6 p.m. at 366 Washington Ave. Dunkirk. The school’s music director has put together a selection of music for the enjoyment of attendees.
