Laona Egg Hunt

Saturday

The Laona/town of Pomfret Easter egg hunt will be held on Saturday March 30, at 10 a.m. It will be at the Laona playground on Route 60 (parking lot on Porter Road.) This is for ages newborn to 11 years. Older kids may come to help the younger ones. Organizers will have a bunny raffle and also two 24 inch bikes will be given away. Dress according to weather conditions. For any questions call Evie at 716- 673-1051.

Hanover to hold

special meeting

Hanover Town Board will be holding a special meeting on Tuesday, April 2 at 2 p.m. in the supervisor’s office at 68 Hanover St, Silver Creek. Topics of the meeting will include the purchasing of trucks by the highway department and new employee hiring.

Also, the regularly scheduled meeting for April 8 has been rescheduled to April 9 at 7:30 p.m.

Caregiver grandparents

invited to support group

CASSADAGA – Grandparents, are you feeling overwhelmed as caregivers of grandchildren? Whether it’s full-time or part-time, your role is vitally important and we’re here to support you! Join Aubrey from Prevention Works as she leads a four-part discussion group at the Cassadaga Branch Library.

These free sessions will be held Tuesdays from 9:30-11:30 a.m., starting on April 9 through April 30. Refreshments will be provided. Participants are automatically included in a drawing to win an e-reader and/or an Amazon gift card.
