Book club set for April 29

SINCLAIRVILLE — The Sinclairville Free Library’s virtual book club will begin hosting hybrid meetings with participants invited to the library on Monday, April 29 at 7:30 p.m. for a discussion of “Killers of the Flower Moon: The Osage Murders and the Birth of the FBI” by David Grann. Copies of the title are available at the library. For those unable to attend in person, the link to participate via Zoom is available by sending your request to director@sinclairvillelibrary.org.

Church plans Sunday coffee hour

SHERIDAN — The Esther Circle group of the Sheridan United Methodist Church extends an invitation for a coffee hour following service this Sunday. Doughnuts and drinks will be served. Regular Sunday services begin at 10:30 a.m. with Pastor David Watson officiating. The church is located at 2679 Route 20 in Sheridan. All are welcome.

Sewer district meets April 23

There will be a meeting of the Board of Directors for the Portland, Pomfret, Dunkirk Sewer District on Tuesday, April 23 at 3 p.m. The meeting will be at the Town of Portland Town Hall, 87 W. Main St., Brocton. The meeting is open to the public.
