County Legion Auxiliary meets Thursday

CELORON — Chautauqua County American Legion Auxiliary monthly meeting will be held at the Herman Kent Post 777 in Celoron on Thursday, May 9 at 7 p.m. The County Auxiliary Memorial Service will be conducted, as well as Nomination of 2024-25 County Officers. All units are encouraged to have a representative in attendance.

SOUTH DAYTON — The South Dayton Volunteer Fire Company, 34 Maple St., will hold a Mother’s Day chicken barbecue on Sunday from 11:30 a.m. until sold out. The cost is $15 per dinner. The event is drive-through only.
