Antique group holds monthly meeting

The Chautauqua County Antique Equipment Association will hold its monthly meeting on Tuesday at 7 p.m. at the club grounds. All members are encouraged to attend.

Outreach event planned for July 13

Iglesia Pentecostal Dios Con Nosotros, Inc. will be hosting its second annual outreach event on Saturday, July 13 beginning at noon. The event will include hot meals, haircuts, clothing and a message of love and unity for the city. There is no fee. Community concert is Wednesday

SHERIDAN — The town will host a community concert on Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. The “Concert on the Commons” will feature the Cassadaga Area Community Band playing popular patriotic music and marches in honor of the upcoming July Fourth as well as a variety of other band arrangements. The event will be on the lawn of the Sheridan Town Commons, at 2775 Route 20. Hot dogs and refreshments will be available for purchase to benefit the Sheridan VFW Auxiliary and a bake sale will benefit the Sheridan Historical Society. Bring your lawn chairs and enjoy an evening with your friends and neighbors.

Silver Creek GOP to caucus June 27

SILVER CREEK — The Village of Silver Creek Republicans are scheduling their Caucus for the nomination of Candidates for the upcoming November election. There are two seats up for re-election, both being Trustee positions.

This year’s caucus will be on Thursday, June 27 in the Village of Silver Creek board room at 172 Central Ave., directly behind the Village Firehall. The caucus will begin at 7 p.m. and all registered Republicans are invited.

Of the two Trustee positions, William Barnes is currently on the board, and Marvin Cummings (who resigned in May of 2024) are open for nominations. For questions about the caucus, you may call Sandy Hornburg, Caucus Chairwoman, at 716-934-2546.

SOAR Chapter meets Tuesday
