Sons of Legion meet today

The Sons of American Legion Squad 59 will be holding its monthly meeting at 7 p.m. today at Post 59, 156 E. Main St., Fredonia. All SAL Squadron 59 are encouraged to attend the meetings which are held on the fourth Tuesday of every month.

Centaur Stride plans open house Saturday

This Saturday at the Centaur Stride Therapeutic Riding Center information on programs, fun day and a big raffle event the public is invited from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Come down for a lesson demonstration. Pony fields with a $5 donation. Horse drawn wagon rides on the trails 12:30 to 2: 30 p.m., weather permitting.

Other events include: a volunteer table (bring your questions); scoop the poop; group coloring poster; door prizes; a raffle for a three-day vacation at Angola on the Lake.

A special effort is made to include the parents and siblings of the children with disabilities receiving services in our program. Our vision is to be recognized as a premier provider of a variety of alternative recreational opportunities for the western New York and Pennsylvania region. Author to visit Sinclairville library

SINCLAIRVILLE — Deb Pines, author of the Chautauqua Murder Mystery series, will visit the Sinclairville Free Library on Friday, June 28 at 9 a.m. to introduce her new release, “Caught in the Snare.” The author will answer questions about her writing process, the publication and marketing of her books as well as her career writing headlines for the New York Post. Books will be available for purchase and signing by the author.
