Rec Department plans Tuesday movie

The Fredonia-Pomfret Recreation Department is showing “Lilo & Stitch” on the big screen on Tuesday. This free community event will take place at dusk in the baseball field at Russell Joy Park. Come out and enjoy this movie, as well as some popcorn under the stars.

National Night Out

set for Cassadaga

CASSADAGA — National Night Out in Cassadaga will be celebrated on Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Johnny Fessenden Ballfields (driveway next to Cassadaga Cemetery.)

There is another event in Cassadaga that night and the parking for the Triathlon is close to Maple Avenue, the Ball fields are out that same road further back with lots of parking there. First responders will be on hand to show off their equipment and answer questions.

Currently expected for displays are the Cassadaga Volunteer Fire Department, Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Department and the New York State Police. Fire Guys Bounce House will return for the enjoyment of the children.

An ice cream truck and hot dogs will also be available.
