CVCS plans special board meeting

SINCLAIRVILLE — A special meeting for the Board of Education of the Cassadaga Valley Central School District will be held on Thursday at 5:30 p.m. at the Middle/High School. Immediately following will be the facilities walk-through at Middle/High School.

Steel retirees meet Oct. 5

Al Tech and Dunkirk Specialty Steel Retirees will meet on Saturday, Oct. 5 at 8:30 a.m. at Demitri’s Restaurant, Lake Shore Drive West in Dunkirk. All retirees are invited to attend.

Lakeshore Humane Society sets membership meeting

Sunday service to focus on climate

The Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Northern Chautauqua (UUCNC), located at 222 Temple St. in Fredonia, holds a Sunday Worship Service at 11 a.m., both at their physical location and on Zoom. For those attending the in-person service, please follow the driveway and park in the lower lot behind the building. Handicapped parking is located between the two buildings and directly behind the second building.

The theme for September is Invitation. On Sunday, members of the Green Sanctuary Team will lead a service on Climate Justice Revival. This inspiring service will conclude our Climate Justice Revival weekend. After the service join us for a bite to eat and an opportunity to engage in climate justice advocacy.
