Album class planned by library

SINCLAIRVILLE — The Sinclairville Free Library invites residents to visit the library at 15 Main St. in Sinclairville on Thursday, Oct. 10 at 5:30 p.m.for Beginner’s Paper Album Class. This program is for ages 13 and up.

A fee of $13 will cover the cost of all materials with instruction provided by Lynn Wigren, Creative Memories Advisor and scrapbooker, cardmaker, and papercrafter since 1995. Please call the library at 716-962-5885 or send email to info@sinclairvillelibrary.org to register in advance so that adequate supplies will be available.

Class participants will work on completing an 8″ by 8″ paper album by simply adding photos on the predesigned pages. The focus of this class will be on creating mats using the paper trimmer, use of ABC/123 stickers and creation of borders. Participants will need to bring at least 12 photos (up to 20 photos) of the same event or theme chosen to complete the album. There will be a choice of paper album themes including: Spring Delight (1), Fall (3), Nordic Winter (1), Birthday Bonanza (1) and This Life (1). The number available of each type of kit is listed. Please register early to get your choice. Space is limited to 6 participants. Information about library programs and services is available on the library’s website at www.sinclairvillelibrary.org.

Blood drives planned for this month

ConnectLife, Western New York’s community blood bank, has listed upcoming blood drives:

South Dayton American Legion, 4 Mill St., South Dayton, on Wednesday, Oct. 9 from 1 to 5 p.m.; and Friday, Oct. 11 from noon to 5 p.m. at GX Warehouse Fitness & Wellness at 3469 E. Main St. — Route 20, Dunkirk.

All blood donated stays in Western New York so donors know they are saving lives in their own community! Just like September, donors will be entered into a weekly drawing for one of three pairs of Bills tickets to an upcoming home game.
