Bills Boosters to gather Sunday
The Southern Tier Bills Booster Club will watch the New England Patriots vs. Buffalo Bills game on Sunday at the First Ward Falcon Club in Dunkirk.Snacks will be provided and members may bring a food item to pass. Game time is 4:25 p.m.
County Planning Board to meet Jan. 7
MAYVILLE — The Chautauqua County Planning Board’s monthly meeting will be held at 4 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 7. The meeting will be in Room 331 of the Mayville Gerace Office Building at 3 N. Erie St.
‘Cookie Walk planned for Saturday
Need a little help with your Christmas preparations?
Attend the “Christmas Cookie Walk” at St. John’s Episcopal Church on Saturday from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m.
Stroll through the Christmas Cookie Lane to select your favorites of some 60 varieties of beautifully decorated, taste-tantalizing cookies, including Italian fig and baklava.
Come early for the largest assortment.

Congregation celebrates ‘Holiday of Lights’
The Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Northern Chautauqua, located at 222 Temple St., in Fredonia, holds a Sunday Worship Service at 11 a.m., both at their physical location and on Zoom. For those wishing to join virtually, visit https://tinyurl.com/caluucnc. Click on “Worship Service” on the date you are attending and scroll down for the Zoom link. For those attending the in-person service, please follow the driveway and park in the lower lot behind the building. Handicapped parking is located between the two buildings and directly behind the second building.
The theme for December is Presence. On Sunday, the annual “Holiday of Lights” service will be presented by the UUCNC musicians. We will celebrate with music the three December Holidays of Light: Winter Solstice, Christmas, and Chanukah.
