Laona egg Hunt underway.

The annual Laona Easter Egg hunt will be Saturday, April 19 at 10 a.m. at the Laona playground. It will be for ages baby to 12 years of age.

There will be candy for everyone and our stuffed bunny raffle. Also, there may be a visit from the Easter bunny helper. The event may also have two bikes again this year to give away. Dress accordingly for the weather.

Chicken and biscuit dinner is Sunday

FORESTVILLE — Forestville Order of the Eastern Star will be having a chicken and biscuit dinner on Sunday, April 13 from 1 to 3 p.m. in the Masonic Hall, Main Street. Eat in or take out. Cost is $13 and will have homemade pies for dessert.

Library plans spring events

SINCLAIRVILLE — The Sinclairville Free Library will be closed on Friday and Saturday, April 19 in observance of the Easter holiday.

The Library’s Makerspace and LEGO STEM will be open on Monday, April 21 from 2 to 5:30 pm. The Makerspace cabinet has building and creating activities for school aged children. LEGO STEM = “Build It, Keep It” No registration required.

Walt Pickut will be in attendance on Monday, April 21 at 6 p.m. Pickut, author of “The First Counterspy,” a book with local connections. This is a “pulse-quickening and traumatic story of a spy and counterspy and an American family unwittingly caught in their web.”
