Congregation service to focus on immigration

Click on “Worship Service” on the date you are attending and scroll down for the Zoom link. For those attending the in-person service, please follow the driveway and park in the lower lot behind the building. Handicapped parking is located between the two buildings and directly behind the second building.

The theme for May is Imagination. On Sunday, join us for “Imagination as Sacred Resistance: A Call to Hope, Hospitality, and Justice.” Immigration lawyer Sheila Starkey Hahn plans to weave themes of immigration into her talk. In addition to the parable of the two babies, she will throw in some Star Wars references in honor of May 4.

Sheila Starkey Hahn has been practicing immigration law for over 25 years. She is a Buffalo native and returned to upstate New York with her husband and two sons after many years in Washington, D.C., and Memphis, Tenn. She has a nationwide immigration practice focusing on employment-based immigration and the pro bono representation of asylum applicants from Central America. Hahn is the Chair of the National Client Resources Committee of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA) and the past Chair of the AILA National Pro Bono Committee.

The Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Northern Chautauqua strives to be a vibrant, welcoming, multigenerational, diverse community enlivened by the power of radical love.
