Patrick Stokes to speak on experience in Ukraine at worship service

Patrick Stokes is a Fredonia resident who has spent nine months over the past two years serving in Ukraine as a volunteer and as the director of operations for the same non-government organization that he volunteered for. He will talk about service volunteering and his experiences supporting the Ukrainian people.

Student art exhibit set June 6 in Cherry Creek
CHERRY CREEK — Pine Valley Central School District’s Advanced Placement Art Show is scheduled Friday, June 6, 2025, from 3:30 p.m. to 5 p.m. at the Trillium Lodge, 6830 Main Street, Cherry Creek.
The art of AP 2D Art & Design students Destiny Lindquist, Sara Sunick, and Madison Ebel will be displayed. Works by Advanced Drawing & Senior Portfolio students Olivia Greene and Lizzie Rolad will also be displayed.
Binders and selected artwork will be on display outside. Students will be there to discuss their pieces with the community.
