Superhero story time this weekend

CASSADAGA — At 11 a.m. Saturday, the Cassadaga branch of the Mary E. Seymour Memorial Free Library will have a special Superhero Storytime. As a group, participants will come up with a super hero and the youth will have the opportunity to create their own stories using the character.

At the end of the exercise, the librarian will help the children share their stories and display copies at the library. This event is part of Summer Reading.

Veterans 4 Christ gather in Brocton

BROCTON — This Saturday, Veterans 4 Christ (V4C) will offer a free brunch for all veterans, active-duty military and a guest at Tri-Church Parish, 41 E. Main St. The Gospel Church from Fredonia will graciously provide the brunch. V4C is honored to be one of The Gospel Church’s many missions. The featured speaker on Saturday will be Barb Cessna from the Fenton History Center, 67 Washington St. in Jamestown. She will talk about the programs that the Fenton History Center offers to veterans or active-duty military.
