Church plans indoor, hot dog sale
SILVER CREEK — Trinity Lutheran Church, through a generous grant from Thrivent Financial, will be holding its 15th annual indoor yard sale on Saturday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Featured are a large selection of Amish novels, games, craft supplies, hundreds of greeting cards and tools from two garage cleanings! Each child receives a free children’s book of their choice and a pencil.
On Saturday, Aug. 9, the church will be having a hot dog sale during the Silver Creek Village Wide Sales. A family value meal includes a Sahlen’s hotdog, a bottle of water, and chips for $4.
As it has been our tradition, the church alternates donating to several volunteer fire companies in our area. This year the Irving Fire Department will receive 50% of the yard sale proceeds and 100% of the hot dog sale proceeds to show our appreciation for the service they provide to our community. What a chance to possibly pick up that item you can take to Antiques Roadshow to find it is worth mucho bucks one week and enjoy lunch during the Silver Creek Village sales the following week.
The church is located at 15 Porter Ave.
