Sons of the American Revolution to hold

dedication

The Chautauqua County Sons of the American Revolution will be dedicating a Patriot Memorial Marker at the Evergreen Cemetery, Park Street, Sinclairville, on Saturday, Sept. 13 at 9:30 a.m. There are four American Revolutionary War veterans buried in the Cemetery.

The regular monthly meeting of the Chapter will follow at 12:30 p.m. at the Stockton Hotel, Stockton.

to celebrate new

congregational year

The Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Northern Chautauqua (UUCNC), located at 222 Temple Street in Fredonia, holds a Sunday Worship Service at 11 a.m., both at their physical location and on Zoom. For those wishing to join us virtually, please visit https://tinyurl.com/caluucnc. Click on “Worship Service” on the date you are attending and scroll down for the Zoom link. For those attending the in-person service, please follow the driveway and park in the lower lot behind the building. Handicapped parking is located between the two buildings and directly behind the second building.

The theme for September is Building Belonging. On Sunday Sept. 14 come for the annual Ingathering and Water Ceremony with Rev. Ron Skowronski.

“You are invited to listen to the words of Rev. Ron Skowronski in this first service of our new congregational year. We will bless the stones that we use during Joys and Concerns and mingle the waters we collected from our summer hiatus from worship services. Please bring a small vessel of water for the water ceremony,” organizers said. “Immediately following the service there will be a potluck lunch and cake to celebrate July, August, and September birthdays. Bring a dish to share if you are able.”

Bills Booster Club

to watch game

The Southern Tier Bills Booster Club will watch the Buffalo Bills vs New York Jets game on Sunday in the First Ward Falcon Clubs game room. Game time is 1 p.m. Snacks and munchies will be provided. Members may bring a dish to pass.
