NCCS planning chicken barbecue

Northern Chautauqua Catholic School will be hosting a drive-through only chicken barbecue by Weidner’s on Sunday Oct. 12 from noon to 3 p.m. at Holy Trinity Church on Central Avenue in Dunkirk. Dinners include half barbecued chicken with mashed potatoes, gravy and a vegetable. Tickets are $15 and can be purchased at the NCCS office, The Lord’s Vineyard parish office or by contacting a NCCS family. All proceeds will be used directly to support NCCS.

Bingo event planned for Sunday

Elks Lodge 922 is planning Roadkill Bingo on Sunday. Doors open at 11 a.m., with Bingo starting at 1 p.m. Winners will receive meat and there will be a basket raffle. The Elks is located at 428 Central Ave., Dunkirk.
