Gerry Rodeo history to be discussed

SINCLAIRVILLE — The Valley Historical Society will meet on Tuesday, Nov. 4 at 7 p.m. in the Sinclairville Library for the monthly meeting and guest speaker on the history of the Gerry Rodeo. Donna Westerdahl Nichols will speak at the Gerry Rodeo which began in 1945, 80 years ago. Everyone is welcome. Refreshments will be served following the program.

City planning Boo Bash Thursday

The city of Dunkirk Youth & Recreation Department will be hosting a Halloween Boo Bash on Thursday from 4 to 6 p.m. in the Stearns Building and Stearns Court for youth.This free event will feature trick-or-treating with various departments, arts and crafts, refreshments, goodie bags, and free hot chocolate available at Central Station Restaurant.
