Planning Board meets Wednesday

MAYVILLE — The Chautauqua County Planning Board’s monthly meeting will be at 4 p.m. on Wednesday. The meeting will be at the Chautauqua County’s Sheriff’s Office CARES Program Re-Entry Hub at 1 S. Erie St.

Historical Society planning bake sale

SHERIDAN — The Sheridan Historical Society will hold a bake sale on Tuesday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. After voting, visit the Historical Society building located at Route 20 and Center Road where homemade goodies will be available for purchase, and the museum will be open for browsing through rooms full of Sheridan history. Proceeds from the bake sale will go toward operational costs of the building.

Congregation planning Sunday service

The Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Northern Chautauqua, located at 222 Temple St. in Fredonia, holds a Sunday Worship Service at 11 a.m., both at their physical location and on Zoom. For those wishing to join us virtually, please visit https://tinyurl.com/caluucnc.

Click on “Worship Service” on the date you are attending and scroll down for the Zoom link. For those attending the in-person service, please follow the driveway and park in the lower lot behind the building. Handicapped parking is located between the two buildings and directly behind the second building.

The theme for November is Nurturing Gratitude. On Sunday, Nov. 2, join Cheryl Ritch and UUCNC congregants in a service that will include reflections on gratitude. Immediately following the service we will celebrate November birthdays with cake and singing!

Bills Boosters ready for the Chiefs

The Southern Tier Bills Booster Club will watch the Kansas City Chiefs vs. Buffalo Bills game on Sunday at the First Ward Falcon Club, game time is 4:25 p.m. Snacks and munchies will be provided. Members are welcome to bring an item to pass.
