Silver Creek

Senior Citizens meet

SILVER CREEK – The Silver Creek Seniors met on Nov. 18 with 19 in attendance. President Randy Nurmi opened the meeting with the Pledge to the Flag and all singing God Bless America. The members enjoyed pizza, goulash and desserts.

The 50/50 winners were Jan Polisoto, Norra Carroll and Al Wilson. Door prizes went to Tony Borrello, Eleanor Lemiszko and Dixie Carlson. Wheel of Fortune lucky winners included: Elaine, Dixie, Sally Conover (twice), Harry Suski and Jan. Elaine Wojda called bingo and the winners were: Harry Suski (3 times), Sally, Lorrie Newman (twice), Jan, Eleanor (twice), Deanna Borrello (twice) and Norra.

Tuesday the group will enjoy a catered turkey dinner. The Senior Group meets every Tuesday at 1 p.m. Everyone is asked to arrive by 12:45 p.m. Call Lorrie for information at 716-785-1074.

TEA Party seeks

youth participants

Michelle Erdt, regional director of Club America, the high school arm of Turning Point USA, will be the featured speaker at the monthly meeting of the Southern Tier TEA (Totally Engaged American) Patriots on Tuesday at 7 p.m. at 1309 Norby Road. A chapter is being formed at Jamestown High School. Students of the newly formed club will have a table set up about their chapter.
