CVCS board meets Wednesday

SINCLAIRVILLE — The regular monthly meeting of the Board of Education of the Cassadaga Valley Central School District will be held on Wednesday at 5 p.m. in the Sinclairville Elementary School Cafeteria.

Christmas cookie sale deadline nears

Fredonia Community Choir is having a pre-order Christmas cookie sale fundraiser. If you don’t have time to bake or need a little something special to take to a gathering these plated gourmet cookies are just what you need. There are two options available to preorder.

The first is a plate of 15 mixed cookies for $18 and the second is a dozen Cucccidati cookies for $18. Please preorder by Monday. Contact any member of the choir, find the Fredonia Community Choir Facebook page or email Phillip.mcmullen01@gmail.com. Include your name, phone number and how many of each plate you are ordering.

Pick up your order on Sunday, Dec. 14 between noon and 4 p.m. at the Edward’s Waterhouse BnB at 71 Central Ave. Fredonia. Customers may pay by cash, preferred, or check when they pick up the order. If after plating the preorders, if there are any unclaimed cookies they will be available during pickup.

Please park on the guest side of the parking lot behind the BnB or along the entrance side of the driveway. Earlier pickup can be arranged.

In January, Fredonia Community Choir will begin to rehearse “Creation” composed by Dan Forest, which will be presented in April. Watch for announcements.

Ripley school board to meet

RIPLEY — A regular meeting of the Board of Education of the Ripley Central School District will be on Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. in the Superintendent’s Office (Room 119) of the Ripley Central School for the purpose of any and all items that come before the board.
