Property taxes mailed in Hanover
HANOVER — Property taxes for the town of Hanover were mailed Wednesday, Elizabeth VanCheri states. Taxes can be paid at Hanover Town Hall, located at 68 Hanover St., Silver Creek, between 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday, except legal holidays.
Payments can be made penalty free until Feb. 6. Payments made Feb. 7 to March 6 will incur a 1% penalty.
A 2% fee will be added to payments made March 7 to April 1.
Payments can be made by cash, check, or credit card. Credit Card payments will incur an additional 3% fee. On April 2, all unpaid taxes will be returned to the county.
CVCS board
meeting Wednesday
The regular monthly meeting of the Board of Education of the Cassadaga Valley Central School District will be on Wednesday at 6 p.m. in the Middle High School Multi-Purpose Room and via Zoom. A budget workshop will be held prior to the meeting, beginning at 5 p.m.
County Health Board meets Thursday
MAYVILLE – The Chautauqua County Board of Health will hold their quarterly meeting on Thursday at 6 p.m. in the HRC Building, Fourth Floor Conference Room, 7 N. Erie St.
Comments received from the public will be accepted as communications, and not read during privilege of the floor. Public comments at the meetings during the privilege of the floor must be made in person.
