‘Love Remembered’ event is Feb. 7

SOUTH DAYTON — The Villenova Burial Association will be holding its ninth annual “Love Remembered” Bake Sale in the entryway of the South Dayton Supermarket on Saturday, Feb. 7 starting at 9 a.m. There will be dozens of homemade goodies, including pies, bread, cookies, candy, cupcakes, cakes.

There will also be a donation box. The fundraiser theme, “Love Remembered”, is a symbol of remembering those held close in our hearts during this holiday celebrating love. All proceeds will help defray the maintenance and operating costs of the Villenova Cemetery.

The event also offers an opportunity for members of the community to learn about the Association and how they might help in efforts to maintain and preserve the more than 200-year-old Cemetery.

Library holding annual meeting today

SILVER CREEK — The Anderson-Lee Library will hold its annual meeting at 8 p.m. today. The public is invited to attend. The Anderson-Lee Library is located at 43 Main St.
