TEA Party meeting is Tuesday

The general meeting of the TEA Party Patriots on Tuesday at 7 p.m. at 1309 Norby Road, Jamestown, will cover the issue of affordability, including the proposal by county Democrats called the “Affordability Act of 2026.”

Also, the way in which the county’s “second privilege of the floor” is handled will be covered. An update locally on BESS will be given and how you respond when “fascist” is used against you.

Bottle and can drive Feb. 28

The Blessed Mary Angela Holy Name Society will hold a can and bottle drive at The Lord’s Vineyard Center at 296 Lake Shore Drive East in Dunkirk on Saturday, Feb. 28 from 9 a.m. to noon. Bring all your Super Bowl empties and the proceeds will be used to keep St. Hyacinth’s Church warm.
