therapy dog sessions

American Legion Post 59, located at 156 E. Main St., Fredonia, will offer therapy dog sessions from 1 to 2 p.m. on the last Sunday of each month. Sessions are open to the public.

Fredonia Ukulele

set for Friday

Fredonia Ukulele will be Friday at the Raven & Thorn, 26 Water St., Fredonia, from 5 to 7 p.m. Fredonia Ukulele is for players of all experience levels, but begins with “Beginners and Brush Up” from 6 to 6:30 so newbies can start to learn. New chords are added every few songs. The goal is to have fun and to make music. Ukuleles are provided or bring your own. Play, sing, or just enjoy listening. Come and go as you please.

Historical Society plans ‘Show and Tell’

JAMESTOWN — The Busti Historical Society next talk is a “Show and Tell” for all to participate in and learn about treasures our neighbors and friends have from the past. See if you can identify the mystery items or the mystery places in old photographs. Bring an artifact, photograph or object to share with the group.

The talk is Sunday at 2 p.m. in the Busti Historical Society, 3443 Lawson Road. The talk will be in the meeting room in the Busti Museum room. Free admission, donations encouraged. Questions? Call 716-483-3670 or email bustihistorical@gmail.com.

The Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Northern Chautauqua, located at 222 Temple St. in Fredonia, holds a Sunday Worship Service at 11 a.m., both at their physical location and on Zoom. For those attending the in-person service, please follow the driveway and park in the lower lot behind the building. Handicapped parking is located between the two buildings and directly behind the second building.

The theme for March is Paying Attention. On Sunday, the Unitarian Universalist Service Committee (UUSC) Justice Sunday, brought to us by UUCNC’s Green Sanctuary Team, will speak about a particularly urgent human rights issue and learn how the congregation can help.
