Spring meeting planned for Association

SOUTH DAYTON — The Villenova Burial Association will hold its annual spring meeting on Tuesday, April 21 at 6:30 p.m. at the Villenova Town Hall, 1094 Butcher Road. The Association Trustees would like to encourage all members of the Association (anyone who owns a lot or has family members buried in the Villenova Cemetery) to attend this upcoming meeting. The Association needs your involvement and input!

Also, for lot owners, family members and anyone who might need Community Service points, the Annual Villenova Cemetery Cleanup Day is Saturday, April 25 at 10 a.m. Rain date is Saturday, May 2 at 10 a.m. Bring your rakes, gloves, and happy faces … water and doughnuts will be provided.

County Legion auxiliary meets

MAYVILLE — The Chautauqua County American Legion Auxiliary monthly meeting will be hosted by William L. Travis Unit 493, 3 E. Marvin St. on Thursday. This is a joint gathering with the American Legion and Sons of the Legion (SAL) members beginning with a dinner at 6:30 p.m., followed by the meeting. All Legion Family members are welcome to attend to continue our shared mission of supporting veterans and promoting patriotism.

Gospel group coming to Ellington

ELLINGTON — The Baptist Church of Ellington is presenting in concert the award winning Gospel group The Needham’s on Friday, April 17 at 7 p.m. The concert is free, a free will offering will be taken.If you have health issues the Church has an elevator and a chairlift. Let’s put old man winter behind us and come out for a night of great gospel music.
