Club Associates holds monthly meeting

SILVER CREEK — The Northern Chautauqua County Club Associates held their regular monthly meeting in Silver Creek at the Overseas Veterans club. Club Board President Ed Fik welcomed the group to the club. The meeting was opened with the Pledge of Allegiance followed by a moment of silence for deceased club members. Roll call was taken, one board member was excused, and one club was absent.

Minutes of the previous meeting were read by secretary Jim Pryll and accepted. The treasurer Tom Halicki read his report and it was accepted.

There were some dates of upcoming events at the clubs.

The next monthly meeting will be held at the J. Carter Knapp American Legion Post 953 in Forestville on April 26 at 10:30 a.m. All club members are encouraged to attend.

DHS Class reunion planned for July

Dunkirk High School Class of 1986 40th reunion will be Friday, July 3, in the American Legion, 211 Central Ave., Dunkirk, from 3 to 11 p.m. Join us for a casual get together. Light snacks served.

Monthly Story Time in Cassadaga announced

CASSADAGA — Join the Seymour Cassadaga Library Branch for Story Time and a colored-popsicle-stick flower-pot craft at 11 a.m.. This is a free family event that repeats the third Saturday of every month with a different theme and craft. No need to RSVP.
