Chiavetta’s
chicken barbecue is today
The East Town of Dunkirk Fire Dept. Ladies’ Auxiliary, 10949 S. Roberts Road, Dunkirk, will hold a Chiavetta’s chicken barbecue today from 4 to 6 p.m. or until sold out. Dine in or drive-through options are available. The cost is $15 per dinner. Tickets can be purchased at Big Rick’s One Stop, 347 Lake Shore Drive E., Dunkirk or by calling Julie at 716-680-2729.
Quilting group meets today

Towel bingo
event is Saturday
FORESTVILLE — Forestville Order of the Eastern Star will be having towel bingo on Saturday. Doors open at noon and games begin at 1 p.m. The event will be in the Masonic Hall on Main Street.

for Holocaust event at SUNY
The Holocaust Remembrance event at SUNY Fredonia, originally announced for Wednesday, will be on Monday. The event, at 5 p.m., is in the Blue Lounge in the Williams Center.
The program, “A Tailor’s Journey: One Man’s Story of Survival During the Shoah,” will feature speaker Arnon Adler, who will be telling his father — Bernard Adler’s — story. Arnon is the father of SUNY Fredonia senior, SUNY Chancellor’s Award for Student Excellence recipient and Acting major, Sivan Adler, president of Hillel.
Sonos Quartet plays in April 26 concert
On Sunday, April 26, at 3 p.m. the Sonos Quartet will perform at the Trinity Episcopal Church, 11 Day St., Fredonia. The quartet will play works by Tchaikovsky, Gershwin, Glazunov, and more.
The Sonos Quartet is a student saxophone quartet based out of SUNY Fredonia that strives for sonic mastery, and to provide audiences with a unique listening experience. The group is comprised of Ian Leonard (Soprano Saxophone – Kennesaw, Ga.), Sophia Arcuri (Alto Saxophone – Syracuse), Matthew Lasher (Tenor Saxophone – Smithtown), and Matthew Schnaufer (Baritone Saxophone – Salamanca).
This event is free to the public, and all are welcome.
