Veterans 4 Christ brunch is Saturday

BROCTON — Veterans 4 Christ will be holding a brunch on Saturday. Veterans, active duty military and their plus one are welcome. The brunch is held at Tri-Church Parish in Brocton at 10 a.m. Tri-Church Parish is handicap accessible with air conditioning. The food is homemade and delicious! Of course, we serve the famous Paula Donuts. We would like to thank Paula’s Donuts for their generosity at providing the donuts each month. There is no cost for this brunch but donations are always accepted but never mandatory. At this time there is not a guest speaker. Please come and join us for brunch. Family Breakfast is this Sunday

Forest Lodge 166 F&AM will be holding its monthly Sunday Family Breakfast this weekend from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. This all-you-can-eat breakfast will consist of eggs made to order, pancakes or French Toast, sausages, fruit cocktail, juice, milk, coffee and tea. Adults and teenagers 13 and up, $13; children, 5-12, $6. Those under 5 are free. This breakfast is open to the public, and everyone is welcome and cordially invited to attend. Anyone with interests in, or has questions about Free Masonry will be given a tour of the building at the asking. Forest Lodge is located at 321 East Main St., Fredonia.

VFW Auxiliary meets, holding bake sale

SHERIDAN — The Sheridan VFW Auxiliary Post 6390 met on Monday at the post. The annual elections were held for officers and delegates. The group is having a bake sale this Friday starting at 4 p.m. at the post. As always, the proceeds of the bake sale fund donations to veteran organizations. On May 24 the auxiliary will be distributing Buddy Poppies at Walmart in conjunction with VFW members. There is also a raffle going on at the post and our auxiliary members will help manning the raffle on Friday nights. Our next meeting will be May 11 at 6:30 at the post.
