SOAR meeting April 28 in city

County agricultural protection board meets

MAYVILLE — The Chautauqua County Agricultural and Farmland Protection Board will be holding a meeting at 9 a.m. on Thursday, April 30.

CVCS board to meet Tuesday

CASSADAGA — A special meeting of the Board of Education of the Cassadaga Valley Central School District will be held on Tuesday at 7:10 a.m. in the District Office. Purpose of Meeting – to vote on the Erie 2 BOCES 26-27 Administrative Budget and Board of Education election.

Turning Point to be at TEA Party event

Michelle Erdt, High School Field Representative for Club America, the high school program of Turning Point USA (TPUSA) will be featured at the next general meeting of the Southern Tier TEA Party Patriots on Tuesday at 7 p.m. at 1309 Norby Road. Joining with her will be local club members from Jamestown High School. Also, there will be a follow-up on county consolidation and issues regarding Chautauqua Lake. Finally, how we shop versus how those with EBT cards shop will be discussed.

Sons of Legion meet Tuesday

The Sons of the American Legion Post 59 at 156 E. Main St., Fredonia, will have their monthly meeting on Tuesday April 28 at 7 p.m. Topics will include nominations for next month’s election of officers and finalizing details of Meat Bingo, which will be on May 16 at 6 p.m. Doors open at 5:30 p.m.
