Congregation sets Sunday speaker
The Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Northern Chautauqua (UUCNC), at 222 Temple St. in Fredonia, holds a Sunday Worship Service at 11 a.m., both at their physical location and on Zoom. For those wishing to join virtually, please visit https://tinyurl.com/caluucnc. Click on “Worship Service” on the date you are attending and scroll down for the Zoom link. For those attending the in-person service, please follow the driveway and park in the lower lot behind the building. Handicapped parking is located between the two buildings and directly behind the second building.
The theme for May is Awakening Curiosity. On Sunday, join the group for a service on that theme with guest speaker Lisa Augustine Glasier.
What if awakening your curiosity is the pathway to comfort, peace, and joy? Could awakening your curiosity be the first step to creating a world of harmony, community, and generosity? Sharing from personal experience and offering safe space to ponder, breathe, and allow for the unexpected, Lisa will guide a gentle meditation and teach about the power of curiosity for manifesting a calmer nervous system and a kinder humanity.
Glasier is a Sound Artist and Yogi, offering both yoga and sound baths in her barn dubbed The Love Shack in Fredonia. She entered the world “sunny-side up with both eyes wide open” according to her dad. Life continues to awe her every single day.
The Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Northern Chautauqua strives to be a vibrant, welcoming, multigenerational, diverse community enlivened by the power of radical love. For more information about us, visit our website at www.uucnc.org or call at 716-679-7944.
