CVCS sets organization meeting

The annual organizational meeting and regular monthly meeting of the Board of Education of the Cassadaga Valley Central School District will be held on Wednesday at 5 p.m. in the Middle High School Multi-Purpose Room and via Zoom.

SINGO to benefit Lakeshore Humane Society

Liberty Vineyards & Winery, 2861 Route 20 in Sheridan, will host “SINGO for a Cause” on Sunday, July 26 from 1 to 3 p.m. The event is free, but throughout, there will be opportunities to support the Lakeshore Humane Society, including a basket raffle. (There is no age limit, but those selecting prizes containing alcohol must be 21 or over.)

SINGO is similar to bingo. Songs are used instead of numbers. For this SINGO, the music will be animal -themed.

LHS will have an information table, where representatives will answer questions about the work of the non-profit, all volunteer organization. LHS helps companion animals be safe, healthy, and find permanent, loving homes. LHS volunteer application forms will be available at the table.

Liberty Vineyards & Winery will have pop, water, beer, wine, and snacks available for purchase (outside food and drinks are not allowed).
