Coin Club show slated for Aug. 9

The Lakeshore Coin Club Annual Coin Show will be held on Sunday, Aug. 9, from 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at Arly and Izzy's Banquet Hall, 3731 Lake Shore Drive East in Dunkirk. This event is an opportunity for collectors to buy, sell, and appraise coins, with dealers participating from western New York and northwest Pennsylvania.

Attendees can expect a diverse range of U.S., ancient, and foreign coins available for purchase, along with essential coin supplies. Whether you're looking to expand your collection or discover the value of your current coins, this show offers something for everyone. Free appraisals will be available, making it easier for collectors to understand the worth of their rare finds.

In addition to the coin dealings, the event will feature exciting raffle prizes, including Morgan silver dollars and four Silver Eagle coins.

The Lakeshore Coin Club meets monthly on the second Wednesday of the month at 6 p.m. at the Elks Club, 428 Central Ave in Dunkirk. The club has not had a show since the pandemic, but hopes to return to an annual event.
