Veterans 4 Christ meet Saturday
BROCTON -- This Saturday, Veterans 4 Christ will offer a free brunch to veterans, active-duty military and family. This brunch will begin at 10 a.m. at Tri-Church Parish. Most of the brunch items are homemade. Don’t forget the Paula Donuts. There is not a speaker on Saturday so please take the opportunity to reconnect with friends and meet new people.
The last Monday of August is Tacos Buffet at Westfield American Legion in Westfield. The hours are 4:30 to 6:30 pm. There is a suggested $4 donation for 3 trips to the buffet. Please stop by!

Lakeshore Humane Society sets meeting
The next general membership meeting of the Lakeshore Humane Society will take place at the Lakeshore Humane Society Adoption Center, 431 E. Chestnut St., Dunkirk, on Thursday, Aug. 20 at 6:30 p.m. The public is welcome. See www.lakeshorehumanesociety.org or call 716-672-1991 for information.
