Stockton Fire Department to celebrate 105 years
STOCKTON -- On Saturday, Stockton will be celebrating 105 years of service to the community and surrounding areas.
Starting at 10 a.m., the gates will open at the Stockton Fireman's Grounds for a day filled with fun, food, activities, live music, bounce house and raffles. Proclamations and guest speakers will arrive at 1 p.m. to recognize the historical value that Stockton Volunteer Fire Company is to the community. Live music will play "The Freeze" from 6 to 9 p.m. and ending the night around 9, fireworks will light up the sky followed by a bonfire to celebrate this occasion.
Sons of Legion meet tonight
The Sons of the American Legion Post 59 at 156 E. Main St. in Fredonia will have their monthly meeting today at 7 p.m.
