Revitalize Dunkirk will be putting mulch on Discovery Way at the Point on Saturday, Oct. 3 from 9 to 11 a.m. Volunteers are needed.
Apple Butter Festival set for Oct. 10
WESTFIELD -- The West Portland Baptist Church, 7081 East Route 20, will be hosting its 12th Annual Apple Butter Festival. On Saturday, Oct. 10 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., there will be old-fashioned kettle cooked apple butter available for a donation.
There also will be more than 40 vendors offering various sale items including food vendors. The festival will take place rain or shine. All profits generated from the festival will be donated to the Brocton-Portland Food Pantry which is operated on the church grounds. Admission is free and everyone is welcome.
