Congregation to hear talk on courage
The Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Northern Chautauqua (UUCNC), located at 222 Temple Street in Fredonia, holds a Sunday Worship Service at 11am, both at their physical location and on Zoom. For those wishing to join us virtually, please visit https://tinyurl.com/caluucnc. Click on "Worship Service" on the date you are attending and scroll down for the Zoom link. For those attending the in-person service, please follow the driveway and park in the lower lot behind the building. Handicapped parking is located between the two buildings and directly behind the second building.
The theme for October is Courage.
On Sunday, "Courage as a Spiritual Practice," with guest speaker Rey Spangler will be discussed.
Many people speak of courage as a trait one possesses, some inborn quality, or maybe a situational reaction summoned by extraordinary circumstances, but today Rey posits that courage is, or at least can be, a deliberate spiritual practice we can, and must, cultivate within ourselves. Please join us for this special message!
Rachel Spangler is the Goldie, IPPY, and Alice B award-winning author of twenty-eight sapphic romance novels. Known to friends as Rey, they live with their wife in Fredonia. Rey serves as the Clerk of session for Fredonia Presbyterian Church and publisher and chief of Bigger Table Books.
