VFW Auxiliary discusses programs SHERIDAN — The VFW Auxiliary Post 6390 met Monday at a member's home for a meeting and then shared a potluck dinner. The members received their new program chairperson's name and contact information. The program committees include Americanism, Community Outreach, Media and Historian, Veterans and Family Services, Hospital, Youth and Legislative. The group discussed sending our monthly reports in for those programs, our monthly donations to charitable organizations, and the ideas for planning a bingo again in the Fall. Superhero story time this weekend CASSADAGA — At 11 a.m. Saturday, the Cassadaga branch of the Mary E. Seymour Memorial Free Library will have a special Superhero Storytime. As a group, participants will come up with a super hero and the youth will have the opportunity to create their own stories using the character.
