Gov. Andrew Cuomo announced Friday that owners of gyms in New York state should be receiving reopening guidance next week.

During a conference call, Cuomo said the information to reopen gyms will be made available on Monday. Lt. Gov. Kathy Hochul, in a message posted to Twitter, confirmed the news, stating: “Update on gyms: @NYGovCuomo announced guidance on gyms will be released Monday.”

Gyms remain closed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
