Providing numbers from Friday, Saturday and Sunday, Chautauqua County reported 199 new cases of the novel coronavirus.

Active cases increased to 452 over the weekend, a 19-person increase. Hospitalizations also increased by two to 33. Quarantined contacts, however, decreased from 1,450 on Thursday to 1,421.

After reporting 43 new cases on Friday, 48 new cases were reported in Jamestown, 22 new cases in Fredonia, 17 in Forestville, 12 in Frewsburg and 11 in Dunkirk.

There are now 129 active cases in Jamestown. There are 58 active cases in Mayville.
