Hundreds of appointments remain open for those eligible and looking to get their first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine.
As of noon, there were 385 appointments, from around 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., for Wednesday’s clinic, set to take place at the Jamestown Community College physical education complex. Anyone over the age of 30 is eligible to get the Moderna vaccine that will be administered.

Because the vaccine requires two doses, those who get their shot Wednesday at JCC must be available for their second dose April 28.
Beginning Tuesday, anyone over the age of 30 in New York can get the COVID-19 vaccination. Everyone over 16 will be eligible starting April 6, Gov. Andrew Cuomo announced Monday.
