FORESTVILLE — The committee of the Forestville Fall Festival has announced the annual event has been canceled for this year.

“This usually runs the first weekend in October,” said Carol Woodward, member of the committee, in an email to the OBSERVER on Thursday. “We have had inquiries about the event. The committee regrets that we are unable to host this popular event but due to the pandemic we feel we are unable to have the event this year.

“The Forestville Fall Festival is very committed to giving back to our community by donating money to various local entities and we also have established a yearly scholarship for a senior that is committed to community service.”
