BELFAST — An Angola man has been charged with felony possession of stolen property after he was observed driving a missing vehicle.

State Police at Amity on Tuesday announced they charged Edward J. Mochol, 57, with third-degree criminal possession of stolen property after investigating a report of a stolen trailer. The vehicle was observed traveling on State Route 19 in the town of Belfast on Friday. Subsequent to a traffic stop, troopers determined the trailer was stolen and Mochol was the operator.

Mochol was released with an appearance ticket for Belfast Town Court later this month.
