A group of about 15 people this morning were at the U.S. Post Office in Fredonia on Day Street to show support for the federal institution. In recent weeks, the Postal Service has come under criticism from President Trump and threats of reducing funding have been made as the U.S. mail system has become a critical battleground due to the possibility of voting by absentee ballot. The rally took place in Fredonia as well as other parts of the nation from 11 a.m. to noon.
