The Erie County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a stolen vehicle from the town of Boston that traveled to Gowanda and was later found in Maryland.

During the evening of Wednesday, Sept. 16, between 7:30 and 10:30 p.m., a pickup truck was taken from the driveway of a Boston residence. The investigation revealed the vehicle was used to travel to the Village of Gowanda a make a purchase at the McDonald’s in Gowanda around 11 p.m.

The vehicle was located abandoned on the shoulder of Old National Pike Road in the Town of Boonsboro, Md.
