ELLINGTON — Several departments were called to the Ellington Rod and Gun Club after fire broke out at the property this morning.

Crews were alerted to the blaze around 7:10 a.m.

Officials arrived to find fire at the club, located at 1045 Hagerdon Hill Road. Volunteers from Ellington, Sinclairville, Falconer, Cherry Creek, Gerry, Fluvanna and Conewango were called to the scene.

The fire was reported under control in about 10 to 15 minutes. Members of the Chautauqua County Fire Investigation Team were later summoned to the club.
