CONEWANGO — Crews remain on scene of a structure fire reported early this morning in the town of Conewango in which witnesses at the scene say resulted in a fatality.

Firefighters were called to the blaze on Route 62 in the town before 1 a.m.

Several surrounding fire departments, including Ellington, Kennedy Randolph and East Randolph, were summoned to help at the scene.

As of 10:30 a.m., crews were still hitting hot spots.
