Vehicle strikes scooter in Clymer, two injured
CLYMER — Two south county residents were injured after a vehicle struck a scooter around 5:30 p.m. Saturday.
The Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office, Clymer Fire Department and Sherman Fire Department responded to 8075 Ravlin Hill Road in the town after the incident. An investigation found that Justin Teed, 31, of Panama was traveling eastbound and struck James Troyer, 19, of Clymer who was also traveling eastbound in the road on a scooter.
Troyer was transported by EMS to Hamot for non-life threatening injuries and Teed was transported to UPMC for minor injuries.
No charges are pending at this time.
