Following a steady decline in hospital bed capacity rates, Brooks-TLC Hospital System, Inc. has announced it will resume elective surgeries effective today.

“This is good news for the community,” states Mary LaRowe, president and CEO, “We have been meeting with our surgeons and surgical team and are anxious to resume the service so that patients in our community can receive the elective treatments they need,” LaRowe said.

All patients having elective outpatient and inpatient surgery must test negative for COVID-19 prior to surgery. Any information about scheduling surgery will come directly to patients from their individual surgeon.
